They sure are spending (or have spent) a whole lot of money! Meanwhile, everyone is still trying to figure out how we're going to prevent this planet from being overrun by humans, provide resources for everyone and / or manage to keep from decimating the planet (and these projects along with it) as a result of environmental destruction and global war. All that aside, I'm pretty sure that some of these projects will never be completed (particularly, the Chinese ones - since they have a habit of not completing construction projects and are dangerously close to destroying their future economy). If you ask me, it sure seems like a YUUUGE waste of money... :/
