Here's a video that is very informative and is also about as close to my own 'metaphysical' perspective as I've seen - at least, at that period in time. However, my own 'philosophy' has been a little bit better defined, thanks to the evolution of human thought, intellect and understanding. For example, where the video explains matter as well as a 'god' being pervasive throughout the Universe - but mentioning that the 'god' is the rational 'manager' of that material, I would call that 'god' science or physics, perhaps. I think it is also very interesting how the Christian religion (as well as others) have roots in Stoicism. These things are also mentioned in the video. I also find it very interesting how many people have said or presumed that I was 'emotionally disconnected' or cold, whereas that couldn't be any further from the truth (just ask my wife - she'll validate that one). In fact, it is a matter of rational control over one's emotions versus a lack thereof. In short, being ruled by your emotions or...ruling over them. For obvious reasons (most people know unchecked emotions are very risky), I have always found the latter choice to be less painful and dangerous. Of course, not everyone has the strength or self-discipline. The same is true with fear, for instance. I wouldn't say I am 'fearless', but I will say I have much less of a problem with fear than most people seem to have. I manage it quite well. At any rate, it might be enlightening to watch the video. It may also be helpful to those who have a rough time dealing with the difficulties of life. The guy who narrates it, though young, is very intelligent and has a knack for simplifying the complex. It should be easy to follow. (y) I hope it helps and, if you feel like adding your view, feel free to leave a comment! ^_^ "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough." - Albert Einstein
