Relevant... (y) - It stands to reason: law is the game lawyers are trained to play. In law school, the pedagogic emphasis is on “learning to think like a lawyer,” and law students quickly come to understand that law and justice are two quite different things: the law is about rules and precedents, and the careful par...

I would rather spend my time sorting socks from the clothes dryer, counting bird seed or even contemplating the number of celestial bodies in the known (and unknown) Universe than waste any time voting for either candidate running for office, this year. . This has been the most disturbing, ridiculous, ignorant and useless waste of time, money and effort in the history of the US Presidential Elections. IMHO, it will take decades for America to recover from this idiocy which has stained the US' global reputation - far more than G. W. Bush's Presidency did...and that was, in itself, a real 'piece of umm....work'. . I think it is well beyond time for America to rise up, request a 'Mulligan' (or do-over) and demand that these clowns who are currently violating and infecting the US Political process be barred and disqualified for ever running for political office in the future. ...and the mess just keeps on getting messier:

- The year is 1910, just over one hundred years ago. What a difference a century makes! Here are some statistics for the Year 1910: ************ ********* ************ The average life expectancy for men was 47 years. Fuel for this car was sold in drug stores only. Only 14 percent of the homes had a bathtub. Only 8 percent of the homes had a telephone. There were only 8,000 cars and only 144 miles of paved roads. The maximum speed limit in most cities was 10 mph. The tallest structure in the world was the Eiffel Tower ! The average US wage in 1910 was 22 cents per hour. The average US worker made between $200 and $400 per year. A competent accountant could expect to earn $2000 per year, a dentist $2,500 per year, a veterinarian Between $1,500 and $4,000 per year, and a mechanical engineer about $5,000 per year. More than 95 percent of all births took place at HOME.. Ninety percent of all Doctors had NO COLLEGE EDUCATION! Instead, they attended so-called medical schools, many of which were condemned in the press AND the government as 'substandard.' Sugar cost four cents a pound. Eggs were fourteen cents a dozen. Coffee was fifteen cents a pound. Most women only washed their hair once a month, and used Borax or egg yolks for shampoo. Canada passed a law that prohibited poor people from entering into their country for any reason. The Five leading causes of death were: 1. Pneumonia and influenza 2. Tuberculosis 3. Diarrhea 4. Heart disease 5. Stroke The American flag had 45 stars. The population of Las Vegas, Nevada was only 30! Crossword puzzles, canned beer, and iced tea hadn't been invented yet. There was no Mother's Day or Father's Day. Two out of every 10 adults couldn't read or write and only 6 percent of all Americans had graduated from high school. Marijuana, heroin, and morphine were all available over the counter at the local corner drugstores. Back then pharmacists said, 'Heroin clears the complexion, gives buoyancy to the mind, Regulates the stomach and bowels, and is, in fact, a perfect guardian of health' Eighteen percent of households had at least one full-time servant or domestic help. There were about 230 reported murders in the ENTIRE U.S.A. ! I am now going to forward this to someone else without typing it myself. >From there, it will be sent to others all over the WORLD - all in a matter of seconds! Try to imagine what it may be like in another 100 years.

- Ok, I had to crank this tune one more time - because it's Halloween (and because it's awesome)! Happy Halloween, everyone! ^_^ Be safe... ;) (y)

Absolutely shocking... I've never heard of such a long list of 'officially documented' crimes having been committed that have gone unpunished and where those who are party to them have remained in power, not to mention...witnessed all the mysterious, criminal and highly suspicious actions that have been used to cover them up (or try). This is clearly evidence that, if Hillary Clinton wins the election, these crimes will continue (and be buried even deeper than they have been so far) unabated and our nation will continue to deteriorate at an even faster pace. And don't even get me started about what would happen if Trump got elected... I actually believed it couldn't have gotten any worse than it did under Bush Jr., who started the only 2 wars ever begun by the United States in US history - in a single Presidential term (bankrupting our nation), angered the rest of the Int'l. community and ruined America's reputation worldwide - but, apparently, I was quite wrong. Nobody's perfect... (and the two candidates we have to choose from in this election, clearly, are as far from that as humanly possible). Clearly, both parties have rendered themselves useless and not fit for politics. America - be very afraid. Your way of life is in danger. In fact, your very lives bay be in danger if you don't get a lot more serious and concerned with what is happening in politics. You cannot say you haven't been warned...
