For those who actually care about the 2016 Election (and EVERYONE should), I've got a test you can take and some interesting information about the 2016 Election that will help you understand the 'Political Compass' a bit better. This post covers the political compasses of all the 2016 contenders as well as my own political stance, for anyone who is wondering. I bet a lot of people I know who have seen me supporting Sanders think I am some bleeding heart liberal but the truth is - that couldn't be further from the truth. The reason I support Sanders is because, like me, his score is almost exactly where mine is - nearly the center. That should come as a surprise to many of you who think we're both leaning heavily to the left. For the record, I'm quite nearly at the center. This isn't a surprise, considering I'm an altruistic philosopher with a strong sense of fairness, justice, morality and ethics. My Score: Economic Left/Right: -4.0 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.21 I hope this will help people understand their political perspective and, maybe, help them decide which candidate is most aligned with their own political compass. I am not trying to influence anyone - I think that is unethical. I only want to help those who may either have little time or interest or who are unsure to make a better decision - whatever that may be. ^_^ (y) At any rate, the test (and other info) is below:
