Ok, I decided to get away from the heavy news for a bit and listen to some music. Couldn't get far, I guess, since the song I chose is a great euphemism for American politics 'The Battle of Evermore' - Led Zeppelin (RoFL!) :P I have to say, tho, that it is a classic tune, even if it is a cover by Arjen Anthony Lucassen. Unless you're into prog music, you've probably never heard of this guy (He used to play keyboards for Yngwie Malmsteen). I really like his stuff because he is a very precision musician and also uses a lot of awesome sound effects to enhamce his music...which is very 'spatial'. I've been listening to these guys for 30 years or more. I think it's really sad that a lot of good music and artists never really get covered in the US...so I bring it around when I can. (y) If you like Rock, especially classic tunes, you'll probably like these covers. If you like them enough, there's a lot of his original progressive stuff here too.
