Well, you can fool the people some of the time...but, when the tragic pair of presumptive candidates for the general election are a bigoted clown and a lying criminal, the people start seeing that nothing is changing and realize that the only people in the general election are those who would sacrifice the nation and everyone other than themselves in order to control it, it won't be a 'come to Jesus' moment...it'll be a Ronald Reagan moment. Reagan was very fortunate to have survived his assassin. Most do not. For the candidates' own sakes, I hope they're as resilient as he was - or have good tactical defense squads, armorers and eyes in the back of their heads. The US is way overdue for another assassination attempt. The policies of several past Presidential terms have only been further aggravating violence, divisiveness and social unrest and we certainly have little incentive to either protect or expect anything useful and/or constructive from the likes of either of these failures. I suspect that, if things don't change for the better - real soon - karma will take over...and there is no escaping karma!
