My wife speaks French and I always encourage her to 'go for it !', when it comes to her following her passions. I probably should get her to continue her studies...because the language drives me :P :D ^_^ :O -=:oO That said, I listen to a lot of indie, cultural, foreign, progressive and other music - though, I suspect not many others do - and I like to share it so other people get a shot at seeing incredible talent. Really, to me, I don't mind how, from where, when or what raw talent comes...but I am certainly a fan when I see it! That goes for any subject matter, especially the Arts... So I ran across this artist tonight and she's Hindi (East Indian descent) but sings in French and, possibly, grew up in Paris. I don't know a lot about the backstory yet, but I'm certainly gonna' find out! All I know is - she has incredible talent and a voice like an angel! Even if you don't like the genre, it's pretty hard not to recognize the gift. ;) (y)
