- Just my opinion so take it as you like . One thing that really bugs me lately is how quickly people can turn on someone they say they supported . I am seeing all these posts and articles from Bernie supporters that he should do this or he should do that . He should drop out he should run green. Maybe it is me, but I have been inspired by this man and I believe in him . I have dedicated over a year to him in the hopes that he could in some way right some wrongs in this nation . Yes Bernie has become a friend and a part of my every day life . So I trust him and I trust in him. This is his campaign and what he does do, I will be a friend to him and support him . I will not judge or speculate. I have truly backed him from day one and I will continue to believe that he has a plan and a purpose for doing what he does . That is what I was always taught that REAL friends do . I will not lash out at those who have given up on him, but my point is that I believe if you truly support someone and believe in them you stick with them to the end, win or lose that is called loyalty , and true loyalty is something many people have forgotten is a very rare and valuable gift given to those who truly earn it . When I see these fair weather supporters scrambling to arm chair quarterback what they think Bernie should do I feel a sadness and ask myself what if Bernie was their real friend or their father would they really be so quick to give up even if there is only the tiniest glimmer of hope ? Shame on those who cannot see the bigger picture and realize this 74 year old man has endured every grueling painful day of an entire year of running a campaign to be elected our president. He has been fighting to change the direction of this nation. Long days, constant stress. Every little word he has spoke for a year analyzed and twisted and turned on him . Berated and bashed for believing in something better for all of us . Don't you think by now maybe he has earned our loyalty ? Hasn't he earned our respect YET? What if you were in his shoes ? Seeing so many of the people who have said they support you turn on you so quickly, how would you feel? Maybe I am wrong for posting this but I am with him and his ideas , all the way . Those who are caving so easily ask yourself for a minute if someone you truly care about was given 6 months to live would you fight with everything you had to hold on to hope that you could prove it wrong ? Or would you just tell that person oh well sorry about your luck I guess we need to dig a grave . Think on it .
