You can say what you want about Jimmy Carter (and even his wife, Rosalyn), but what is fact...is that we haven’t had a President (or First Lady) with such a compassionate, humanitarian, relentlessly charitable, personally strong character since and - tragically - may never have again for a long, long time (by the current look of things). I’m glad he evaded cancer and am amazed he’s lived so long and still works so hard. I sure hope he sticks around for many more years, since we seem to be at a tragic loss for such ethically and morally responsible social examples of humanity. Great work, sir! ^_^

Great work, sir! ^_^ - Mr. Carter, long a proponent of doing good works, once said, "I have one life and one chance to make it count for something... My faith demands that I do whatever I can, wherever I am, whenever I can, for as long as I can with whatever I have to try to make a difference.”
