It may seem disingenuous to some, but how many people do you think would get more serious about dealing with their lives (and how they interact with others) if they knew they were going to be around for a long time and would have to deal with the repercussions of poor choice - or benefit from the rewards of good ones? On the other hand, brain research should be of paramount importance in this case... Why? It's a well-known fact that people with high IQs, who are often lacking in moral guidance and/or faith or who have not learned how to avoid reasoning themselves into an untenable situation, have high suicide rates - and no amount of longevity boosting science devoid of psychological research and development will likely prevent such a thing from happening. Of course, these are my own thoughts.... (What do *I* know?) ^_^

(What do *I* know?) ^_^ - Living longer forces us to come up with a solution for the problems that could compromise our future, as they are now decidedly our problems.
