I'm shocked and saddened... :( Prince was an amazing multi-talented individual. He wrote, sang, played so many instruments ("For You" was recorded without a band; Prince purportedly played all 27 instruments on the album), performed and also made many others famous. He influenced talents such as Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, and more as well as writing many famous songs for others, like “Stand Back” – Stevie Nicks, “Nothing Compares 2 U” – Sinead O’Connor, “Manic Monday” – The Bangles, “How Come You Don’t Call Me Anymore” – Alicia Keys, “I Feel For You” – Chaka Khan, “When You Were Mine” – Cyndi Lauper, “Jungle Love” – Morris Day and The Time, “Round and Round” – Tevin Campbell, “Love Song” – Madonna, “Pray” – MC Hammer, “The Glamorous Life” – Sheila E and several others. He was even very protective about the creative control of his work. The man was definitely an artist in nearly every sense of the word. I would have sworn he easily had 10-20 years left. Rest in peace, Prince Rogers Nelson... - Legendary musician Prince has died at the age of 57
