There was no way Trump was going to come out of this in any favorable position and, even if he did, by some miracle, he is Trump - someone who consistently shoves his feet in his mouth. The only thing he has done is drawn out the long, painful and inevitable destruction of his own Party and their self-important agenda which has no benefit whatsoever for the American people. He's little more than 'Nixon on Quaaludes' and almost out of time. Not just his party but their agenda, racism, voter suppression and gerrymandering, political dishonesty, financial corruption, the sacrifice of education, the political manipulation of big pharma and the war on drugs, etc., etc....are all very much bucking a trend in toe other direction. They are pissing in the wind and, soon, they're bound to catch some frightening blow-back. It's only a matter of time...and time will tell.
