Always appreciated this guy...not because he's awesome at writing stories and screenplays, because he's a teacher, because he's basically a cool guy or because he survived a horrific injury and went right back to doing what he loved - even before he finished recovering...but because of all those things and, mostly, because he really knows how to write - and inspire other writers! That's a USO photo so, apparently, he is also in the habit of supporting the troops. Here's a great article that can really give any aspiring writers a shove in the right direction:
