This sounds a lot more like "filling the swamp, then letting it overflow back out into society through the use of Ethics waivers after the failures of those individuals the swamp was initially filled with" to me. It completely baffles me as to how an elected leader could say (so many) things during their run for office and then, once elected, proceed to do precisely the opposite of so many, if not every single one, of those things. Sure, it may not be so uncommon, but it is surely seems bold and blatant in this case. I don't know, maybe it's just me who feels this way. I certainly hope not...
