One is usually better off looking for the good that comes out of a tragic situation (such as the election of Donald J. Trump), rather than fretting about the bad. In this case, we have something very profound to be happy about - Geert Wilders (the Dutch politician) and Marine Le Pen (of France), both of whom are international versions of Donald J. Trump, have both lost their elections handily. The center holds fast - likey, because of the tragic example that Trump has set since stepping into office. The people (worldwide) are not going to tolerate this nonsense anymore. That is more than apparent by endless examples of failure by not only Trump, himself, but those who resemble him and support his ridiculous, divisive policies. In fact, the United States is well on its way to replacing, at the grass roots levels, the very same types of people that have led to this global increase in swamp-dwellers. It's very reassuring (and I'm quite sure) that these people are standing on their last legs - soon to be buried in the misadventures of history. Congratulations, France and Holland, for doing the right thing! ^_^ - The independent centrist beat out far-right Marine Le Pen with 65 percent of the vote.
