Joe's one of the nicest, most grateful guys in Rock that I ever worked for. Any one of my stage bros from back in the day who did a Def Leppard gig with me would probably agree. He was one of the few frontmen who actually came backstage after the show during load out and thanked his local crew for their hard work, even extending a handshake to us. A real stand-up guy... It's great to know he was welcomed into the fold and inspired by someone as legendary as David Bowie... (y)
