The only thing wrong with 'killing yourself to live' is that you're killing everyone else, as well. I witnessed this first-hand in China, where factory owners willingly pollute the environment so they can buy Mercedes Benz's for their families and friends...meanwhile, none of them will live long enough to get to enjoy them. This issue is no different, really - it's just a little bit slower (a matter of scale) when you add the entire environment into the mix (including areas in other nations that are unable to be regulated by our nation), rather than just being concerned with our own local area...something this petition is working to change and which we haven't even addressed yet, in favor of arguing whether this is a 'real thing' or not. It is - Aask any renowned scientist you can find - they will tell you and, for Christ's sake...stop asking politicians! What do you expect them to say? The only ones who will admit this do so to win campaigns (like Hilary Clinton, etc.). I'd like to breathe clean, fresh air - at least - until I am no longer alive and...ideally, I'd like my descendants to be able to do the same thing. What do you say we act, make this man-made disaster go away and make that possibility as much a reality as we are able? We already face natural disaster, which we are powerless to avoid. That's enough of a challenge... Sign the petition...please! It's a step in the right direction. (y) http://ift.tt/1UUypK6 http://ift.tt/1M063tW - I just signed a petition to Loretta Lynch, U.S. Attorney General and President Barack Obama: Launch a RICO prosecution of Exxon and its fellow fossil-fuel companies for deliberate and malicious climate deception.
