If you had every bicycle in the world fitted for these 'devices' and all pedaling around Beijing simultaneously - for months - it wouldn't even put a dent in the problem. First of all, it's not even just pollution (smog), though...that is the more damnable and unrelenting problem, thanks in no part to the greed of the Chinese government and incessant need to keep the factories open even while smothering themselves and their people to death. Second, you have the very real fact that the Gobi Desert is 'migrating' and trying to bury Beijing like so many cat turds in a litter box...nature - good luck trying to stop THAT! The arrogance and stunning idiocy of man never ceases to amaze me... :o
