- From my page, again for the sake of sanity: Let's all just admit it, shall we? We have a soft republican and a would-be fascist running for president. And when the actual left threatened to shake up the plan of ever-increasing corporate control, the actual left was kicked (all too easily) to the wayside. And the US mainstream media helped it happen, while Clinton supporters did nothing. Let's call a spade a spade. If you don't care that Clinton is NOT actually on the left of center, and you don't care about her complete dedication to corporate power, or about what the DNC did during this election, you aren't left. You're something, but it's not left, and it's past time we stop pretending otherwise. I'm sorry if this is harsh, but in a time of the radical undermining of democracy and the near unstoppable rise of the corporate state, hard truths will be told. Courage and deep integrity matter -- most especially when we are facing the successful perversion and genuine break-down of our systems.
