There's a reason I used to really enjoy MadTV and why I really enjoy comedians like Orlando Jones. That was because they knew the right way to deal with racism, just like George Carlin knew how to deal with serious issue - he lampooned them or presented them in a humorous light. Carlin was equal-opportunity so, although he may have said some things that were offensive to some, he did not play favorites. As far as MadTV, they never debased whites and often used self-depreciating humor to deal with racism, which I think is a whole lot better than the tragic lameness, harassment, bigotry, hate crimes and murder that we see so often, these days. Maybe people should stop trying to be offensive to one another and return to the times when we could laugh at ourselves, instead of laughing at and mocking others. ...and the world would be a much better place. ...just my 2 cents.
