A great article! Finally, someone has written something which has vaguely defined a specific and important 'counterculture' of people; Those who are not seeking the limelight - as it should be - while 'going against the grain' of popular opinion. Many of these people are in prominent positions but have eschewed the limelight in order to prevent sending the wrong message. They also have the ability to debate reasonably and in a dignified manner (the very thing that produces ethics) that many people these days do not. There are too many people out there already who have destroyed the public interpretation of their perspective, as well as their reputations, by trying to gain popularity while being dismissive and argumentative. President #45 is a prime example. The reason this is so important, these days, is because 'popular opinion' (and especially ethics) has become victimized by those who seek to redefine what is truth / news - and have largely done so for the sake of self interest, personal gain and/or self preservation (to save their own asses or to be popular). In the case of religion, this has been true for quite a long time...but that is merely a small part of the wide range of subjects about which these people have been debating (quietly). And they are gaining allies very quickly... I have always been this way, but I shouldn't have to say this to anyone who knows me well. I'm sure it is quite clear - from the US to China. Fearless - but not foolish 😊👍 Read the article!
